Ok so today I re-casted on for the mittens that I'm making instead of the Knit Picks Chullo hat

...I'm sorry the front picture is not a close up, I took it for my blog and then realized I didn't take a close up of it for here

...My PC is acting up so I can only use a little eeepc and then I couldn't figure out how to re-size the pictures on it... so I had to use this PC long enough to get them up...so umm yeah it will be awhile before I try uploading more pictures

Anyways the front is just one main alpaca and then the back of the hand is little alpacas...JD says they look more like camels though

I'm using Knit Picks yarn that came in the hat kit and size 1 needles...

I messed up the afterthought thumb up...

so now my finished mitten has no thumb...It's ok though 'cause after i finished it I wasn't digging all the colors, so back to just working red and white and not forgetting the thumb!

I'll try to post a picture of my thumb less mitten tomorrow

Here it is...I asked in the How to section on adding a thumb...I'm going to have to cut as I have no hole for the thumb and kinda nervous about that with all the strands

I did that on the sweater sampler and it was freaky the first time, but it did work well. It wasn't stranded though. Those are going to be so cute. Are they for you?
