Wow!

That's fantastic. Not to my tastes be what a beautiful piece of knitting. It looks wonderfull and suits you. The sticthes also look wonderfully even and neat in the close up.
Good work!

There were too many moments i would start pulling my hair out and then start talking to myself to calm down I couldn't do anything while knitting this and definitely took a lot of energy and concentration. But it also was a lot of fun, you're right!

You did a great job!!

I am starting a Fair Isle (with steeks) vest class next week, can't wait! I've done steeks on Norwegian sweaters (two colors) but I've not done the Fair Isle.

You have inspired me!
Thank you The steeks are not difficult at all, there's a sticky here somewhere ( i think on How-to forum) with a guide from Ingrid on steeks. I also haven't used more than 2 colors at a time. The fine gauge and the frequent color changes make it look more than that. I didn't even reinforce the steeks with sewing machine or crochet, just cut the way they were and then tucked them wuth whipstitch. I'm not sure i'm going to make anything steeked soon, but it's definitely worthwhile learning and it's very useful on FI sweaters (if you're not doing a yoke-style sweater). I can't imagine myself knitting a FI pattern back and forth.
