need help with armholes
Hello,
Please help. I always have problems with shaping the armholes. The instruction is as follow: (BO 3 sts at beginning of next 2 rows. Next
row: k1, w2tog, work in pattern to last 2 sts w2tog, k1. work 1 row in pattern.Repeat these 2 rows 5 times more.)

My problem is I would follow the instruction to BO 3 sts at beginning of next 2 rows but my armholes are lop-sided. (one armholes higher then the other). What am I doing wrong?

Thank you,
mybell

This is a common concern. They will be off by a row--not exactly lopsided (unless you're knitting with rope )

You can't bind off at the end of a row because you're yarn would end up in the wrong place. Sweaters all have you bind off at the beginning of the next two, and it really never shows or matters.

Even though they're a row off, that's maybe 1/6 of an inch and it's how all patterns are written. When you go to finish off the shoulders, you BO the first side first again, and that makes the armholes the same length. One row difference on the body doesn't matter.
