everyone for the lovely comments

The head and skirt are knit in the round,everything else is knit flat and then you put it in a stiffern let it dry and then sew it together.

Only 3 1/2" tall, I would never have guessed that. So not the top of the tree, but would make great Christmas tree ornaments. :-) They would also be nice to hang in a kitchen window or somewhere to remind the recipient that angels are watching over them. Beautiful work. I've seen crocheted angels, but not knit ones.
