And one of them is starting to wear away. So, I've decided to knit a pair of worsted weight socks to wear around the house. I'm using Lion Wool yarn that I got on sale at Hobby Lobby for a few dollars a skein. Great deal! I'm almost finished with the first sock: Here's the pattern I'm using, from the Sweaterscapes website. http://www.sweaterscapes.com/sockinst.htm I did a stockinette heel instead, because it feels more comfortable to me with my wide feet. I also switched to stockinette for part of the leg as well. You really should try it, Dollyce. After you turn the first heel, you'll be grinning like a little girl. They are REALLY FUN to make!
