Child poncho in bulky weight, mitered?
I am looking for a knit poncho pattern that is mitered so the stripes would come down in v's in the front, to fit 3-5 year old sisters. I have Bernat Softee Chunky yarn in some bright obnoxious colors (it's Bulky weight-5) but can't find a pattern.

I have been all over Ravelry. Any ideas?
OTN: - Tree of Life afghan, socks, afghan for Dad, Tura Maeve baby dress, alpaca Winter Mountains scarf, Frida poncho

Recently FO- Quinn cabled bag, Evangeline fingerless gloves (2 pairs), Topknot baby hats, pompom & earflap hats, 8 pairs of socks, Baby Folkwear Caftan, Debbie Bliss Baby Shawl (blanket)

I'm SimplyRenee on Ravelry- feel free to add me as a friend & I will do the same!

Wing it... I did a supper simple doll poncho with out any patter at all. but if you really need one here gose.

CO 2.
kfb first and last stitch of every row.

When you have it as long as you want it when folded in half. Cast off 40-45 stitches in the midle and finsh knitting the row like normal.

Okay k2tgh at the start of the next row knit tell you get to where you cast off... Cast on the number of stitches out cast of and finsh the row k2tgh at the end of the row.

K2tgh at the begining and end of every row tell you have 2 stitches left on you needle cast off weave in ends..

Fold it so the slit is verticl it makes a nice V neck.

That is a picture of the toy sized one did. In my avitar.

There is a child's poncho that does that in this book-
Are you on Ravelry? Here's the link.

This one is for adults, but you can see how it's done.

This one isn't in bulky yarn, but you can probably adjust it since it's just a poncho.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
