So, I'm making a baby blanket using what I've always called the basic dishcloth pattern:
CO 3 sts
K1, YO, K to the end of the row
repeat ad infinitum
but THEN what?? I've never actually MADE a dishcloth using this pattern, or have even seen it written down....what do I do when my triangle is big enough and I want to start decreasing?? LOL. Please save me from the never ending baby blanket!

When it's as big as you want, on the next row, you knit 1, k2tog, y/o, k2tog, knit across. Do the same on every row until you get down to 4 stitches, then bind off.
