LACE workshops: reading your knitting and charts
Birgit Freyer is uploading workshops.

There were so many new lace knitters and new chart reading
knitters in her last KAL that she has set up some swatch
exercises for you to see your knitting.

The swatches are 27 stitches and 39 rows. Great for new chart
readers to practice reading charts and seeing their knitting.

The workshop she just downloaded in her yahoo group is "Knit 3 stitches together".
This exercise will pertain to her next mystery KAL starting next month.

If you have never tried lace or reading charts, here is a great way
to get you toes wet. Birgits designs are beautiful and her
charts are well written. In other words, if you want to learn - learn from one of the best!

Is there a way to get this Yahoo group in english? I have just started my first lace project and I love it. I would love to learn more and do more lace.

A google search of her yahoo group Knitting-Delight has a Translate this page link.
Once you join the group and are a member, the instructions are in both German and English.

I tried to join the group but not understanding any German, how do I translate the sign up page? I got the translation for the cover page, but when you click the link to join the page comes up in German.

Send a message via Yahoo to suzeeq
It's like any other yahoo signup page. Part one is your yahoo username, which should come up, and also which address do you want the emails sent to, and a comments box for your reasons for joining the group. Part 2 is to check if you want individual emails, daily digest, only send messages from the moderators, or if you want to read on the web only, emails only for important events. Part 3 is to choose the format for emails, full function, or the Classic look (Klassich). Then enter the code into the box and hit the blue button.

I figured out shortly after asking that if I went to sign up for another group I would be able to see the sign up page in english and find out what info they were asking for. Now waiting for an email confirmation.

Got my invite and even received an email this morning with a posting but it's still all in german so I'm not sure I'll be able to make use of the group. I really don't need another reason to be on the computer anyway.

This is how most emails from the group look.....

Hallo Ihr Lieben.

Es funzt wieder ;-).

Ich habe den Workshop "3 Maschen zusammenstricken" hochgeladen. Diese Übung braucht Ihr auch für unser nächstes Mystery ;-).

I´ve uploaded the workshop "Knit 3 stitches together". This exercise you also need for our next mystery

Best wishes, Birgit
When you look in the Dateien/files everything is in English and German.
Her charts are the best I have read.
