Starting a row w/a YO
How exactly do you start a row w/a YO?

My next row start Yo, k3

I've never come across this
so I am slightly flabbergasted

Bring the yarn to the front of your work as if you were going to purl, but insert the needle to knit the first stitch. That will loop the yarn over the needle.
