My first FO: Scarf
Here is my first ever FO: a simple garter stitch scarf. I'm proud Can't wait to move on to more complicated stuff, but for the moment I'm working on the matching tuque (not the right time of the year, but they'll be there for next year!)

Congrats! It's great to get that first one finished, isn't it?...and it's not too late to even get to wear it this season.

That is terrific! I guarantee you'll always treasure it! I still enjoy my first scarf (first F.O.) and have fond memories of wearing it.

Very nice work -- your stitches are nice and even. I think it's a perfect spring scarf for days like today!

I agree with everybody's comments.
The scarf has a nice delicate look to it and the lines are all knitted wonderfully!
Congratulations on your first FO!
You are now hooked for life....

Thank you everyone I've made the matching tuque, I'll post pictures of it later today.

Now I've got an order for a scarf for a friend, so I'll go shopping for some yarn and do something more interesting and challenging!
