Size 7-8 or 10-12 girls pants and/or skirt patterns?
I've been looking for a pattern for girls pants and skirts sized 7-8 or 10-12 for my daughter she's a short chunky little girl, and I have a heard time finding pants to fit her, they're either too big or too small and no matter the adjustments I make to them they fall down and my little darling has plumber butt! I'm rather tired of hearing it from my mother in law, and I figure that if I could knit up some skirts or shorts or pants that I could remedy the problem much easier, but alas there's a lack in clothing like that for the size group I'm looking for. I've found infants and toddlers, and teens and womens but not one for the size I need. Help please!!

You may have to look at teen or small women's sizes and just make them shorter depending on how big she is. Here's a few things I found, but most are not free. Do you mind paying a few dollars?

If you don't mind buying patterns here's some good ones.

I absolutely love those little "unmentionables" absolutely adorable!
I'm thinking I'm going with the sheepytimeknits one, and I'll check my yarn store next time I drive up that way and see if she's got any books that have a few patterns in them. Thanks Jan for the time you took to help me!

You're welcome! Those Sleepytime ones are really cute. I think I'll bookmark it for someday when I have grandkids to knit for.

I love the patterns in Barefoot Knits. I have made the ruffle skirt and ruffle pants for my daughters and they are adorable.
