Warm Woolies

If anyone is interested in vests, hats, blankets, etc, for kids, Warm Woolies is great to join. It's an all the time option, and it is very supportive of kids, as well as knitters, such as providing yarn and shipping costs for those that want to help out. Great for anyone who wants to knit with a purpose.

Warm Woolies is such a great project. It is really useful since it helps orphans. Housewives like me have something to do in the evening and it's just a beautiful feeling to know that your hats and pullovers will be worn by poor children.

I started knitting for them late last year. They seem great. I haven't needed to get any yarn from them yet, though I will probably do so once I run out of my stash that I bought just for donation knitting. I'm happy that there are organizations out there like this that will help children in need. It makes us feel like we're helping out.
