dropped stitch that isn't dropped
HI, I'm new member, never even been in a forum or chat room type thing! An average knitter.

I have a piece in which I have dropped a stitch. I know how to pick this up, but somehow I seemed to have picked up a stitch in the row above and left the loop. Of course I didn't find it for stacks of rows. Can I loop it in somehow. There is no "normal" ladder just an abandoned loop.

Do you know how to go back and pick up a stitch if it ladders? If so, then create a ladder by following up that bad-loop stitch up to the live ones on your needle, drop it, let it/force it to ladder down to where it happened, and with a crochet hook, work your way back up. If it's in an unobtrusive spot, or you don't care about how it looks, you can leave it alone. It won't hurt anything or unravel.
