Knitting Backwards in the Round
I am making a felted handbag, and had put it down for a few days. When I picked it back up, the knits show up on the outside of the bag, while the purls on the inside. Initially, after I started picking up stitches on it, it was the reverse.

Will this matter if I keep going since I'm going to felt it?

It'll still have the bumps on the RS, so you might want to unknit it. Unless you picked it up inside out, so you could try flipping it through and see how that works.
