Baby ball rattle
I made this to replace the scarf in my baby set I made for dh's cousin. It was a super, super easy, quick knit. Took me about a half hour using DPN's. I used one of those ball cat toys with a bell in it for the rattle.

The pattern is a free Ravelry download.

That is so cute! How'd you make it so round? Is there something in there besides stuffing?

Yes, there's one of those inexpensive cat balls. The plastic ones with the little bell inside. Then there's a bit of stuffing around the ball, to keep it soft underneath the knitting.

The pattern itself makes a pretty perfect sphere to work with, too.
