This is a wonderful pattern. Tried it, liked it and gonna make more. Used size 5, 16" circular with a 76 cast on (96 was just to big for me) and Vanna's Choice yarn.

Debbie Stroller's Stitch and Bitch Nation has a really beautiful cabled newsboy cap and the instructions include a variation for altering it into a rasta cap.
