Stitch loose- how to fix it???
I have been trying to learn how to knit- practicing a few rows and then starting all over- as I am making mistakes which I don't know why.

So when I finish K a row- the last stitch is always loose- and I can't tighten it. Even when I start a new R same thing happens again- the last stitch is loose.

Is this normal- or what am I doing wrong???

It's normal... just keep going and after a few rows it won't look as loose as it does on the same row.

You can try this trick - knit the first stitch, then pull the yarn a bit which takes the extra from the last st on the row below. Then knit the next couple stitches a little tighter. This does seem to tighten up the edges so they're a little neater.
