toe up socks from top down pattern?

I have finished my list of projects and am thinking I will now tackle toe up / two at a time socks....problem is all the patterns I have in que are for cuff down. Can I use those patterns or do I need to look for a specific toe-up pattern? I really wanted to repeat a chevron lace sock I did that ended up too small and I had to give them away.

Most patterns can generally be converted to toe-up. HOWEVER, if you're working with a lace pattern, prepare for it to be upside down. I learned the hard way that lace patterns don't work well backwards
