my second project

I just finished my second knit project. I am really enjoying knitting. I think the next project I am going to try is a hat with cables. I really want to learn cabling. My iron is modeling my hat. Here is a pic:

Thanks everyone. I am a little nervous about beginning a cable project because it involves reading a chart. The one I am going to try is Star Crossed Slouchy Beret. It is a free ravelry download. It has a chart to do the cables. Does anyone have experience with this pattern?
