Looking for a spinning wheel
I don't really expect anything from this, but it can't hurt to try! I would really like to find a spinning wheel that needs a good home. I don't have the money to spend on a new one, so I thought I would check here.

hi there!

sadly, i don't have a wheel to pass on..but if you don't find one perhaps you can start with a drop spindle? .. they can be very easy to make or there are alot of affordable fiber and spindle kits out there

good luck finding a wheel!

I have purchased a drop spindle to start on. I have not had great luck with it yet, but I keep trying. Thanks for answering anyway!

EBay is a good source for used wheels. I bought my first wheel there. There are also spots on Ravelry for spinning equipment.

I am watching ebay, but I didn't know about finding spinning stuff on Ravelry. Off to it I go. (Like I need another reason to stay on that site!) Thanks for the info!
