SO CUTE!
Anyone ever try the Best Baby Sweater Pattern from Knitter's Almanac by the guru E. Zimmerman? I don't have the pattern (yet) but was curious to see whether you all have tried it yet. I saw the sweater on the KP site.

And does anyone recommend a semi-not-so-newbie-knitter purchasing this book?

Elizabeth Zimmermann books are a treasure! IMO she's fun to read even if you don't make anything.

Thousands of people have made that sweater which is also known as the February Baby Sweater. There is even a similar adult version now called the February Lady Sweater! It's done as a raglan and not a yoke like the baby one.

If you are on Ravelry you can see all the various sweaters knit. I think there have been about 3 from KH. You can click search and find those here probably.
