weaving
When I am doing stranded knitting how do I weave in the unused color across the back? In the sock pattern I'm using they suggest to weave in the unused color when I'm doing the heel stitches ( k1,s1).

Catching the long floats is a good idea especially in socks where a toe could catch in them. This site has a great video for two handed fair isle and there is also information on catching the long floats.

Thanks
Jan,
Thanks for the address to a great website. I watched the video twice, and I should be able to weave the unused yarn. I bookmarked the site so I can refer to it again.
Thanks again.

I learned fair isle by following the directions in a book. I've done several pairs of fair isle socks, and my goal is to knit a fair isle sweater.

How do you post a Ravelry link?

Can pictures be posted in my reply?
