No, have never knitted with pure silk. I knit with a yarn that was merino and silk...but never silk alone. I do believe I fondled a skein of it at my LYS once. And put it down immediately after viewing the price tag. I remember its being incredibly soft.

So, not knowing how it knits, I decided on a scarf and hat to be on the safe side. And a cami-tank. Safe knitting!

I'll give ya a full report when the scarf is done, which I'm doing first!

I wish I coulda found a write-up or review about pure silk yarn.
