how to block knitted in the round sweaters?
Hi,

a majority of the garments that are blocked are the ones knit piece by piece. Is there anyway to block a knitted garment knit in the round?

thanks

I block the same way as any other piece. I just have two layers to pin through versus only one. Typically, I start on the back and will steam it and stretch to what I need (so as to smooth out the knit). then I turn to the front side and block normally.

I have a Wooly Board http://www.camillavalleyfarm.com/knit/woolyboard.htm that I bought to block Fair Isle sweaters, but I haven't used it to block other in-the-round sweaters since they don't seem to need a lot of stretching. I generally lay them flat and shape them and let them dry.
