Phew. That was a long and windy sentence!
I'd buy that full set but we're gonna be up in the mountains sometime here in May and I'm afraid the set will deliver and sit on my porch. KnitPicks delivery is willy-nilly. You can't bank on when they will deliver.

Ooooh ok well that does make sense

Thank you!

This made me laugh -- I'd babysit, too! (Though I'm sure anything delivered by KP to me in Canada would take until nearly the end of May if we ordered today... darn customs!)
I had no idea what anticipation-for-an-order
TRULY felt like until I ordered my second order with KP... my full nickel-plated interchangeables set. I ordered 10 days ago and am stalking the mailbox, even though after checking the Canada Post tracking number 8zillion times a day, I
know it won't be there tonight. But we're still going to check the mailbox on the way home from work anyway...
It took nearly 3 weeks to get my first order -- a 40" fixed circ and matching set of DPNs, both nickel-plated. On KP's end it took only a few short days from the time I ordered, the package shipped, and it reached Canadian customs... because I got an email from KP to let me know it had hit the border and was in Canadian hands, and then they gave me a Canada Post tracking number from that point on. Then the package was in Canada for 2+ weeks before I received it. Ugh!!
Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled thread...
