FO: Bettna#3
Same-o, Same-o! I love this pattern and it is the 3rd time I've made it! It fits so beautifully! No buttons, no zipper. Just toss it on and OUT THE DOOR!

And a cloche to go with it!

Bettna pattern is found in this book:

Still for sale at Amazon, and not yet out of print!

The JENNY CLOCHE pattern is found in Ravelry! I've
made 3 of these hats, and plan to do at least 2 more.
Ya' know how it is when you've found "THE HAT"?

The yarn is Crystal Palace TAOS. Color 20.
Wonderful to work with!

I'm knitting a cami-tank now that the FRONT SIDE is Taos color 20 (the green) and the BACK SIDE is Taos, color 'chaco canyon'. I will be able to wear the cami with either of the BETTNA'S in the same yarn.

What Jan said!

That's truly outstanding, and every stitch looks perfect.

Is Sylvi in a box somewhere?

No, Sylvi is still waiting for her sleeves to be lined. I'm still upset with her, so I've had her in 'time out' with her nose in the corner!

Really though, I'm just procrastinating hand-sewing and 'quilting' each sleeve with the chiffon lining. I can't wear it til Fall now, so there is no hurry. I've been finishing up some Spring-Summertime cardigans for my DGD's, plus finishing up Bettna, plus I started a TWIST knitalong over at Rav.

I will finish Sylvi as soon as a Bumblebee cotton cardi is done (dry) blocking on the surface space I use for blocking. I'll have to lay out the sleeves with the lining fabric laying over top and 'free cut' the lining to size. Then comes a drizzled line of FRAYCHECK on the edges to prevent ravel, then comes the pinning, the comes the stitching along all edges plus within the field of the sleeve, like quilting. Ack.

I actually started Bettna on March 1 when Sylvi was taking her time to block and dry. Then I blocked Bettna, but stalled out on the buttonbands and seaming. Oy. My DH went up to the mountains for 3 days, so I got a lot of odds 'n ends finished.
Bettna was one!

Bettna is a really quick knit. It's my third time making her, differert yarns each time, so it's almost like she's an old friend!

Artlady, question and comment. That sweater is wonderful, looks like it could be a favorite to wear.
Can you explain how the bottom part is knit. I am assuming the top is knit like cuff to cuff. But is the bottom knit seperate and then joined to the finished top part?
Hope you understood that question.
Thanks
Marilynn
