making sweater longer in back
Hi - I would like to knit a sweater which is longer in the back so that it will hang properly. Is there anywhere I can read about doing that? Thank you.

You can do short rows. Here's an article - Short rows, knitty.com
Do you need the length at the neck or on the lower part of the sweater?

Hi - I believe that I need it at the lower part of the sweater - other sweater I made for my husband is shorter in the back when he wears it. He doesn't notice but I do and I do not want to do another one until I figure this out. Thank you.
