Can you type out the row you think is wrong? And maybe the row before.

Also, I have the 08 and 09 calendars and a lot of the patterns in them are free/on the web. If the pattern lists who the designer is, it's possible you can find the pattern on line - a link to the pattern would be helpful if you can find it.

Distribute sts on needles-Needle 1 16 sts, needle 2 12 sts, Needle 3 16 stst
Cast on 44 sts and k2p2 rib for 27 rows.
Knit 7 rounds.
Divide for heel and Instep.
K 11 sts from 1st needle on to 3rd needle. These will be your heel sts and will have your beg marker in the middle. Distribute remaining 22 sts on to 2 needles, 11 sts each. These are for the instep and will be worked after heel flap. Back to the 22 heel sts.

Ok, that doesn't make a lot of sense, does it.

Basically, you want half your stitches on one needle for the heel - they want your marker to be the center of these - so whereever that is, put 11 on one side and 11 on the other side onto one needle. the remaining 22 stitches should be split onto needles 2 and 3. Now you should be ready to work the heel flap on the needle that has 22 stitches.
