Increasing overall size
Hi all, my husband wants me to make a blanket for him that has several motifs. Problem is, he wants it bigger. Does anyone know how to increase the pattern size without sacrificing the motifs? I have no idea how to do this! Thanks!

do you have a link to the pattern so we can see how the motif is made?

You could try a bulkier yarn or doubling up the yarn to bulk it up. That would make everything bigger.

Thank you, I never thought about using thicker yarn. That's pretty simple Here is the link so that you can see what I am talking about.

The thicker yarn is the simplest thing to do, but you could also add more plain knitting to widen the motifs, or work the leaves double. It's really up to you how you want it to look. You could also make the edges wider.

But note that the pattern already calls for chunky yarn.
