Thanks to you all, I just finished the Old Shale scarf and it turned out great!
I'd like to make a "real" one this time, as I used just left over yarn and it's pretty short. I'd like it to be more narrow this time and I'm wondering if there's a rule about the pattern repeat in Old Shale. It seems like it's multiples of six but I've never altered a stitch pattern before and thought maybe someone here could help me. Here is a link to the Ravelry pattern:
I think it's just feather and fan. I'd like it about 1/3 thinner. How many sts would I start with? How would row 3 go? Thanks!!!
Late at night, when the family's all asleep,
you will find me counting stitches
instead of counting sheep!
I'm on Etsy when I'm not knitting...
I'm Hartleystudio on Ravelry too!!
