Easy socks?

I've never tried socks before but i wanna try. does anyone know any easy socks i can start with? i've looked through my patterns and they all have either cables or other litle extras. Thanks!

I would start with looking over Silver's Sock class, I know it has helped to get a lot of people started

I started my mom out on this pattern and she found it very easy to follow too
