serape
hi all
saw someone wearing a knitted serape and i had the nerve to stop and ask her where she got the pattern
it was a gift
so i have looked on the internet and couldnt find one let alone free pattern
can anyone help please

Try a search using 'ruana' or 'poncho' and that may help.

Looks like a poncho to me...

Which a serape kind of is, and I was going to suggest that, but I knew there'd be a bazillion returns if you used that to search.

What a lovely sounding word - serape- how do you pronounce it correctly. I only knew of ruannas and ponchos! I want to be able to sound knowlegable!

Mirl56, yes I looked it up in a dictionary as soon as I got home, I was saying it correctly and even managed to drop it into a conversation with one of my sisters later that night. She is an avid crossword fan and had not come across the word before either.
