Looking for a sweater pattern knit in the round
I'm new to knitting but I've learned that I really like circular knitting. I've knitted all sorts of hats, bags and slippers but I'm looking to knit my 1st sweater. I'm looking for a pattern (either for a child or an adult) that is knit on circular needles and I'm having a tough time coming up with one. Pattern must be simple (as I'm a newbie). Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you looked at a top down raglan pattern generator at Knitting Fool or the Knitting Fiend? And there's one at too. There's a tutorial for one at Knitting pure and simple as well as a free baby pattern.

Do you want a cardigan or a pullover? Free only or are you willing to pay a few bucks for a good pattern?

My first sweater for me was #9724 at Knitting Pure and Simple. It was really easy. They have all sorts of patterns including the free baby cardigan mentioned by Suzeeq.

Here's a few more free ones -

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

I did this one as first in the round garment and made the sleeve length to the elbow. Super fast and easy!

You can convert flat patterns to knit in the round, you might have to get creative with the maths when it comes to the armhole decreases, or maybe that's just me!
