x-mas stocking
if i plan on having this done by christmas, i better get started pretty soon

does anyone have some good links for [free] x-mas stockings? (i want something with a bit of a design... and oversized)

I see you're on Ravelry so check there. If you do an advanced search you can narrow down your choices to only free ones.

If you use a bulky yarn instead of worsted you'll get a much large stocking. Some of these seem pretty large already, but I haven't made them.

This is actually my favorite kind of stocking which is why I designed this mini one. It would actually work as a large one if you can figure it out. It was easy to do.
