Help with Caron Mirbeau Slip Stitch Baby Blanket
I need clarification with the pattern.

1. The pattern reads:
Beg with Row 1 of st Slip st pattern, * Work 4 rows each E, B, E, A, C, D, B, D; rep from *

Slip pattern:
Row1: Using B, k1, p1, k5, *k1 winding yarn around needle twice, k3; rep from *to last 4 stitches, k2, p1, k1

So, do I start off the first 7 stitches with b than knit the entire row with E? My next question. K1 winding yarn around needle twice. Do I knit a sitch and THEN do 2 yarn overs or am I reading that wrong.

Any help will be great.

You knit each row with just 1 color. They want you to start with B, doing the pattern row plus 3 knit rows, which will = 4 rows, and then start using the color sequence that begins with E, and use each of those colors for 4 rows. You then end with B, again, at the very end of the blanket.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the wrapping twice thing! Maybe someone else can figure it out. It does look like you do a YO, but I don't know how you do that in a knit stitch. Sorry!

When you wrap the yarn around the needle twice it'll make an elongated stitch because on the next row you drop the extra wraps. It's not a YO between sts, just wrap the yarn around the needle 2 times instead of once when you knit the stitch.
