FO: My First Pair of Socks
On my one-year anniversary of teaching myself to knit, I made my first pair of socks! Even though the yarn is ugly (and I think there is at least one gusset hole), I love these socks. I used several guides (and the videos on this site) to help me finish them. Now that I know I can actually knit socks, I'm going to move on to better, prettier yarn.

Congrats on finishing your first pair! And so soon into your knitting career too. Have you been warned how addictive they are?

I am so addicted now! Ever since I decided to learn knitting, I looked admiringly and longingly at those beautiful socks other knitters seem to create with ease. I wish I had discovered knitting earlier in my life; it truly has become a hobby I am passionate for.

Good job, and here's to many more happy sock-knitting hours! After my first pair, I made 6 more pairs. I found it addicting.

Congrats - they look great! Last night I began my sixth...maybe seventh attempt at socks! This time, toe up. I'm feeling pretty good so far - hopefully I wont get a third of a way in and mess up again!

WONDERFUL! These are socks that can be worn day after day! I love the shorter cuffs!
