Working w/ 2 separate balls of yarn
I am working on a sweater that is knitted top down. I have been knitting w/ 2 separate balls of yarn because of the separation at the neck. Now I am at the end of the separation and have casted on 16 extra stitches after knitting the one side. I am assuming that I continue with the first ball of yarn to knit the other side, is this correct? And if it is, what do I do w/ the 2nd ball of yarn, cut if off and weave in the end?

The pattern states:
Knit across right front, cast on 16 sts for neck front, knit to end. When I do all this I wil have the same amount of sts that I started out with.

Thanks!
Shelly

Yes, at this point, cut the extra ball and leave an end to weave in.
