I made one today and it came out about 5.5 inches. Is that okay?

Also.. I made this one by increasing needle size to 7, casting on the same amount and knitting a few extra rows at the top and on the boot. Next time I'll add a few more rows at the top for the extra length. This one is not so tight as the other one I resized so it feels nicer. I think a needle size of 6 would be perfect though.

Not yet...I still have another week off before heading back to teach, and once I get beyond a major project tomorrow, I should be able to do some more. Right now I can commit to ten (10) sockies!

Thank you, I have it under my projects with links leading them my blog...and I know Auburnchick has mentioned it in her groups...I have to say I don't post a whole lot on Ravelry. I don't really care how some can be over there...I have thought about starting a group for it though...
