I had a little accident with some yarn and a vacuum cleaner today! I was vacuuming my project room and a back with a WIP fell over and the yarn caught around the vacuum roller.
Fortunately, the yarn broke at the project end and the end on the yarn balls and it didn't ravel the project. I can fix it by unknitting a couple stitches and doing a Russian join. I just lost about a foot of yarn to the vacuum.
Moral of the story: Don't try to be so darn clean!!!
