LYSes in Vermont?
I'm planning a trip to Vermont in October and would love to visit some LYSes while there. Does anyone know of any? At one time I had a site for a map with lots of LYSes on it, but can't find it now.

Here's one directory. I'm sure there are others. Make sure you call first, to make sure the shop is still there.

Green Mountain Spinnery has a tiny shop connected to their spinnery right off Exit 4 (from Rte 91N) in Putney. We stopped in on a Sunday when the machines weren't spinning and got a tour and explanation of the whole process from sheep to yarn. I love the idea of buying the yarn right where it is spun! The Putney Inn is across the street; it's a great place for lunch or dinner. Also, Not Just Yarn in nearby Brattleboro is a great shop.

How are you traveling there? If you are going up I-91 you'll be very near WEBS in western Mass.

I'm flying from Richmond, VA but will have a rental car. I'll see how close I'll be. Thanks.
