Horizontal Herringbone: Help!
Okay, I understand the directions for the Candy Stripers: felted messenger and laptop bags in Stitch n' Bitch Nation until it gets to this part in the horizontal herringbone stitch pattern:

Row 2: *P2tog, then purl first st again, slipping both sts off needle tog; rep from * to end.

I checked YouTube videos and they say nothing about the purling part of herringbone.

It's not as complicated as it seems. Purl 2 together, but don't slide them off the needle. Then reinsert the right tip in the first loop on the left tip and purl that one and then slide them both off.
