What Kind of Snakes Are These?

I know nothing about snakes, but I do know my husband is crazy. These were vipers he caught alive, help ID these?

Looks a lot like a rat snake. They're harmless.

I agree! And for the record.....

Walked into my office yesterday to fix a cup of coffee and there was a little bitty baby pigmy rattlesnake by the desk! Pitter patter and yikes!!!! Everyone laughed at me but the little bitty ones have no control over the venom disbursement when they bite!

Doesn't look harmless to me, either. That arrow shaped head looks like a poisonous species...quite possibly a copperhead.
Tell your DH to be VERY careful with it.
