Knitting in Plaid

A friend of mine said she figured out a way she could crochet in plaid. So, now I'm curious if it is possible to knit in plaid as well. Anybody done it?

Yes, it is possible. It involves using 3 or more colors. For example white/white, white/blue, blue/blue, white/red....etc... Seems to me that there's a thread on here about it cause I've asked the same question....going to search for it!

Knitting in tartan patterns is done all the time! Just do a search on it-- and searching for "tartan" instead of "plaid" will probably get you many more hits. Also try looking on www.knittingpatterncentral.com
