v-neck sweater help
Is there a basic way to make a v-neck sweater..without picking up the stitches along the neck line, just use the selvedge edge??

Yes you can rib in with cardi just add extra sts for left and right. I do that with mine.

so can I divide the stitches with even amount on both sides, and at the neck line just knit 2tog?

The edge of ribbing will curl, but garter and seed stitch won't. Is it a cardigan? What pattern is it?
