Thanks for having me
Hey all you knitters. I have been knitting for years, but have not really taken it seriously until just recently. I love to sit in front of the tv after a tough day and just knit and knit, especially if I have a pattern I do not have to keep referring to. I have often come up on a problem, but really had no place to turn, till now, what a great place! Glad to have a place I can come and talk knitting, or just read hints, or just come see what is going on.

Thanks for a wonderful web-site, and look forward to coming back again and again!

It is a wonderful forum. I too like to knit and watch TV. TV alone is just too boring, too many commercials, etc.

I spent last New Year's Eve with a number of people from this Forum in the Chat Room - it was totally great way to see in 2009!

Welcome - enjoy. Lots of nice people here!

i think the great thing about these social sites for knitter/crafters is what we do is a fairly solitary thing, you work on your piece by yourself. to have a place like this to sound off ideas, to get feedback enriches the whole process of creating these great items. i know for me it helps to know that when my yarn is tangled, and i can't for the life of me figure out a pattern, there's a whole group of cheerleaders on my side. it's something you don't get often enough in life.
