FO: IRISH TWEED "QUINN BAG"
Made another QUINN BAG to complement my Cassidy Cable Cardigan.
Had yarn left over (points for the Stash Train!) so why not?!

YARN: Irish Donegal Tweed, Citron Yellow #4897
PATTERN: QUINN BAG (free)
YARDAGE: 329 yds
MODIFICATION: using double strands and a US9, I made a 6st wide cabled handle instead of braided I-cords. Additional details and how-to's on my Ravelry Project page, if you're interested.

Buttoned with a crochet chain stitch loop:

That's beautiful!

I feel like such a slug next to you. I haven't knit for a few days because it's been so freaking hot and I don't have a/c. It's 95 F right now.

Oy! The Seattle area had high 80's for a few days...but on Sunday everything went downhill! Rain, wind, thunder, lightening, the works! It is still poo-poo today, but I'm not complaining!

I sat outside all weekend under a tree with my two little granddaughters who were spending the week with me! While they splished and splashed...I knitted in the shade of a tree!
Thankfully, it was windy all weekend! Yay!
