It's official
Well, it's official. I will be unemployed as of August 11, 2009. Just got back from a horrendous bumping meeting (ie Chinese water torture) in which we all had to sit there while they read off the names and those folks had to accept a job that belonged to another person, leaving the 2nd person out of work. Since they eliminated all the positions in the Adult School, I didn't have to go through that because I had no one to bump.

While I still have an income, I'm going to stock up on yarn because I'll never get through this without my knitting! So, I guess that is a silver lining isn't it!

Its hard out there right now, but you'll get through it. Things always come back around eventually.

Oh...that is the worst!

You know...it doesn't matter how much wool you store up...you still want the stuff for that new pattern!

I totally know where you are coming from! *hugs*

I can't imagine having to bump someone out of their job - that is definitely Chinese water torture. I'm sorry you had to go through that and get bad news on top of it.
