Sock a Bootie for Baby Question

I am making this pattern and I am at Turning the heel. There are 14 stitiches on the needle and the instructions state.
Always slip 1st stitch pw at beginning of each row. End having worked a purl row.
Row 1: K9, K2 tog TBL, K1, turn
Row 2: P8, P2 tog, P1, turn
Row 3: K7, K2 tog TBL, K1, turn
Row 4: P6, P2 tog, P1, turn
Row 5: K5, K2 tog TBL, K1, turn
Row 6: p4, P2 tog, P1, turn
My problem is that I have 1 stitch on the end of the row that isn't ever worked no matter how I do this. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Reading through what you posted my first reaction was that something isn't right and then I did a swatch...you are right, there is one stitch hanging out that never gets worked! Can you post a link for the pattern? Have you checked online for any errors that have been reported? Maybe with a little more info we can help you figure this out.

I am stumped Kelly. I tried to figure out how to email the person from her web site but since I don't have outlook express I can't do it and her email address isn't listed. The only thing I can suggest is P2tog at the end of that row where the errant stitch is and see if it works out. I tried looking on Ravelry for a similar pattern but didn't have any luck. Sorry I couldn't help you...surprised no one else has responded to your post!
