help with sox knit slippers

I am knitting these sox knit slippers, mary jane style. I am using socks yarn. the instructions read: cast on 5 stitches. Beg at heal, work in garter stitch. Inc 1 stitch each end of needle on 4th and every following 6th row 3 times. 13 sts. Continue even for 2 inchs in total, ending with a ws row. exactly how do I do these increases and how do I count the rows. How do I know which is the wrong side row, and do they mean to work the ws row? thanks

I have posted 2 posts today on the pattern for sox knit slippers. I am not sure if I finished right, an order to get help, but I do so need a reply quick in order to start this lovely pattern. If there is anyone out there who can help me please respond. It would be greatly appreciated.................knit1, purl1

Knit 4 rows then inc on the next row, the 5th; you can do a kfb, knit into the front and back of the first and and last sts. The next incs are every 6th row, so that would be rows 11, 17, 23 and you should have 13 sts then. Knit until your piece is 2" long from the cast to to under your needle. The next row will be the RS/right side row from now on, so you can mark it, but you may be switching to another stitch so it will be more noticeable as the RS.
