What are the needles in the knitforlove ad?
Can anyone id these needle? they look nice!

Hard to say since it's an ad for a book. Maybe it will say in the story.

There's so much photoshopping/retouching these days that you never know. But they look brightly colored and plastic and I would bet on Pony Pearls.
